Skirts for Uganda

Mrs. Hageman, K-6 music and piano teacher, leads the Sewing elective for 5th and 6th graders.

Hands of Love Orphanage in Uganda will benefit from the sewing skills the class is learning because the students will produce skirts to send to the children at the orphanage.

"I think it's good because we get to help people and their needs," said student Sarah Chrichton.

Last year, ASLS Chapel offerings yielded $200 to support the project. The orphanage will be the 4th quarter chapel offering project for the 17/18 school year.
