Since 1984, Abiding Savior Lutheran School has been providing an enriching educational experience for students ages 2 through 8th grade in South County St. Louis.

Our Mission

Know. Grow. Go. Know Him through academic study and worship in a Christ-centered learning environment. Grow in faith through continuous learning and building relationships with Christ and others. Go into the world serving others, and sharing knowledge and experience.

Our vision

Our vision is to be a community rooted in love and grace and work through the gifts God gave us to encourage, educate, and enrich each student to be confident in their identity as a child of God.

What we Believe

WE BELIEVE that a Christian school, in which every subject is taught from a Christian point of view and where the teaching reflects the spirit of Christ, can be more successful in leading children to a vital Christian life than any other agency except the Christian home.

WE BELIEVE that Abiding Savior Lutheran School thus supplements the religious training that the child receives at home and, in some cases, is the main source of training through which a child learns about his or her Savior.

WE BELIEVE that Abiding Savior Lutheran School must serve as a mission agency in the community.

WE BELIEVE that Abiding Savior Lutheran School follows the directives of our Lord, “teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you,” and thus makes HIM the focal point of its educational process.

WE BELIEVE that this school, in all its teachings and practices, subscribes to and supports the doctrines and doctrinal practices of the evangelical Lutheran Church, and specifically The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod.

WE BELIEVE that Abiding Savior Lutheran School, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and viewing the student through the cross of Christ, is concerned with the child’s total needs:  physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.

WE BELIEVE that Abiding Savior Lutheran School is an agency of ministry for Abiding Savior Lutheran Church.

Abiding Savior values the unique educational experience for each child, and the partnership we enjoy with families to help students to grow spiritually, academically, and physically.
